I seem to think this is a quite intresting fight, both have a lot of advantages but I am leaning towards the komodo dragon on this one as its toxic bite and some what larger size can help it. But not by a huge ammount.

I agree, I also can't see the Cougar avoiding that bite for too long.

But the thing is the Bite would take long to effective the Cougar, the Komodo dragon having an extremely weak bite(weaker than a human's bite apparently) would make its main weapon pretty useless in the short term but deadly in the long term. So I say this can be a stalemate.

So I say this can be a stalemate. Komodo Dragons kill much larger animals, which don't even take that long to die after bitten; A bite from a Komodo Dragon won't take too long to kill a Cougar.

If possible, name the documentary or show me a paper/study, also it is still gonna take less time on a smaller animal.

I doubt it would take less than a day to kill the Cougar but the Komodo dragon still has a chance also here is the exact scence from the documentary

I dont know if I could say that is a draw, both couldnĀ“t kill each other easily, but the Cougar would problaly kill the Komodo dragon first, because of it stamina, lizards cant "stay in action" for too long, but the feline would die later.
